Lemon Garlic Parmesan Shrimp Pasta

  • Large pot


  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/4 lb large cooked shrimp deveined, tails removed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


  • In a large pot, cook the pasta in boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same pot, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp of butter.
  • Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant, approximately 30-60 seconds.
  • Add the shrimp, salt, and pepper. Cook until the shrimp are hot and beginning to brown, approximately 2-3 minutes.
  • Add Italian seasoning and cook for an additional minute.
  • Add the pasta back to the pot with the remaining butter and parmesan. Still until mixed and butter is melted.
  • Add the lemon juice before serving, and serve hot.
