Linguine with Clam Sauce

- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup chopped white onion
- 2 cans minced clams
- 2 cans chopped clams
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 cup white cooking wine
- 1/3 cup chopped basil leaves
- 1 lb linguine
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
Saute onion in olive oil.
Add minced clams, minced garlic, wine, and basil.
Simmer sauce until it thickens.
Stir in parmesan cheese.
In large pot, cook linguine until al dente; drain and put in large bowl.
Pour sauce onto pasta; stir; serve hot.
