Linguine with Clam Sauce

- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup chopped white onion
- 2 cans minced clams
- 2 cans chopped clams
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 cup white cooking wine
- 1/3 cup chopped basil leaves
- 1 lb linguine
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- Saute onion in olive oil. 
- Add minced clams, minced garlic, wine, and basil. 
- Simmer sauce until it thickens. 
- Stir in parmesan cheese. 
- In large pot, cook linguine until al dente; drain and put in large bowl.
