Combine flour, salt, and pepper on a plate or deep dish.
Set aside 2 tbsp of the mixture.
Heat olive oil and butter in skillet on medium heat.
Coat chicken in flour mixture and cook 4-5 minutes per side until browned.
Remove chicken from skillet; set aside and cover with foil to keep warm.
Add minced garlic to empty skillet and cook for 1 minute.
Add reserved flour mixture; stir.
Add chicken broth and lemon juice; stir.
Simmer until sauce thickens.
Spoon sauce onto chicken, and serve. Can be served on top of rice (white or brown) if desired.
