In a large pot, cook the pasta in boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In the same pot, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp of butter.
Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant, approximately 30-60 seconds.
Add the shrimp, salt, and pepper. Cook until the shrimp are hot and beginning to brown, approximately 2-3 minutes.
Add Italian seasoning and cook for an additional minute.
Add the pasta back to the pot with the remaining butter and parmesan. Still until mixed and butter is melted.
Add the lemon juice before serving, and serve hot.
