1/2 Cup(s) shortening
1/2 Cup(s) butter
1 Cup(s) sugar
1 Cup(s) brown sugar
1 Teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
2 Cup(s) oats
2 Cup(s) all-purpose flour
1 Teaspoon(s) rounded baking soda
1/2 Teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 Teaspoon(s) baking powder
Use three bowls: 1 large, 1 medium, and 1 small.
In large bowl, cream shortening and butter w/sugar and brown sugar.
In small bowl, beat eggs w/vanilla.
In medium bowl, mix dry goods. First add contents of the small bowl to large bowl, then add the dry goods from the medium bowl. Mix well.
Drop from a teaspoon 2 in. apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° for 13-15 min.
